Ben Sherman was a legend in his own right. A man described as ‘always embracing the new and the different’; someone constantly searching for the best of things.

He disliked regularity, preferring to search out things that were perceived as unavailable to him. He was a passionate businessman with an artist’s soul.

The iconic button-down shirt has been the style staple of a number of youth culture movements influencing the styling through 70’s rock, 80’s ska and 90’s Britpop.

The journey for the brand began in a factory in Brighton back in the 60s, and since then the Ben Sherman label has become a global fashion brand and the 4th largest casual wear brand in the UK.
