Six years ago, when we first put our precision ergonomics under a set of sporty looking flip flop* straps, the only rules we followed were dictated by our expert biomechanists. Modern shoes, they told us, often neglect our natural engineering; as a population, we’re not conscious enough of the benefits of training our feet. To challenge a person’s gait and activate key stabilising muscles more, you have to slightly destabilise their stance. We put that advice into practice, created a multidensity Microwobbleboard™ midsole, and launched it in our first FitFlop sandal.

Over eighteen million pairs have been sold since. (And we’re repeatedly told –by happy customers – that we make the most comfortable footwear in the world).

Our focus is still on delivering the best in biomechanics, but now in a wider variety of styles, so our customers can have that ‘happy FitFlop feeling’ any and every ‘wear’. Because at FitFlop, we believe that when your feet feel great, you can DO anything.
