Sheike

The founder of SHEIKE is George Lazaridis.

After a heated discussion with the Captain, the vessel docked in Sydney and a free spirited George abandoned ship. Armed with just a pocket full of money and an English vocabulary of two words, it was the start of an adventure and a new life.

Entering the fashion world through a t-shirt stall at the Sydney markets, his passion evolved and in 1979, the first SHEIKE store was opened. Today the brand has grown to 17 flagship stores throughout NSW and an online fashion website that services both national and international demand.
