Stefano Lubiana

Stefano (Steve) Lubiana is a fifth generation wine maker who has carved out a niche in the Tasmanian wine industry. Steve identified the uniqueness that Tasmanian grape growing had to offer and tasted the potential for greatness. The family owned vineyard wraps itself around the picturesque foothills of the Derwent River estuary, located in the southern most island off Australia. The vineyard was established in 1990 to realise Steve’s love and ambition for the classic burgundian varieties; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, of which the majority of his estate is dedicated to. The level of character and quality of his wines are seamlessly crafted at his renowned estate and he continues to excel with every vintage. Steve is living the ultimate biodynamic winemaker’s dream!
